Dulci Amor Intimates: On the Prowl for Atlanta’s Sexiest Lingerie!

If there’s one thing I love more than Atlanta’s sexy party scene, it would have to be sexy ladies in lingerie. When you combine the two, well there’s nothing hotter than that in all of Hotlanta itself! It was in that spirit that I embarked upon my mission to check-out a brand new retail store in Buford that I heard was selling some of the hottest intimate and clubbing attire in the City.
Upon arrival at the store located a half a mile west of the Mall of Georgia, a couple of things struck me immediately. First of all, the store was discreetly tucked-away, just of the beaten path of busy Ga Highway 20. Later, I was told, that the owners selected the site because many of the store’s female patrons were more comfortable with their ability to shop for their most sexy and intimate items without being seen by everybody on the planet, as with the mall stores. Secondly, I was stricken by the opulence and elegance of the décor, most notably the incredible leopard-print carpet direct from Vegas, that gave the entire store a luxury casino feel. Instantly, I knew this place was sexy—and upscale.
As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted by Mann Chandler, the store’s proprietor and long-time local business guru, and his lovely and charming store manager Jan. The sexy and sultry southern belle Jan embodied the exact dichotomy that made the store itself seem special: sexiness coupled with an upscale, discrete elegance. Immediately I was charmed by the store, and its manager!
Mann and Jan gave me the royal tour of the 2500 square foot space, filled with lingerie, club wear, hosiery, jewelry, costumes, evening wear, shoes, bridal accessories, bachelorette party items, lotions, potions, and my personal favorites—adult toys and novelties! I could see right away that there was something for every lady, whether looking to adorn herself in the bedroom, or strut her stuff on the dance floor of one of Hotlanta’s trendiest night spots. As Mann joked, “We have a bit of everything, from classy to trashy”. Jan added, “We carry an amazing number of designer lines here, ranging from Hustler to Claire Pettibone”.
“Who is the typical lady that shops here,” I asked? “Mostly typical suburban housewives, or working women who are looking to spice up their bedroom wardrobes,” answered Jan. “But we also have many professional dancers and entertainers who love the sexy lingerie and wardrobe accents,” she continued. “In other words,” I surmised, “whether you’re a lady who takes it off for a living, or just for fun, you can find the right wardrobe here!”
“In your opinion,” I continued with Jan, “What things make Dulci Amor unique and different from other intimate apparel stores?” “That’s easy,” she answered in a sultry Southern drawl that melted my own Southern heart, “Personal service and attention, darling”. “We are a store for women, run by women. We are not just clerks here. We are beauty and sex-appeal consultants. We want to make sure that every woman here looks as good as possible when she leaves, and has the knowledge and confidence to wear her lingerie, clothing, or jewelry with confidence. And,” she added shyly, in true Southern belle fashion, “we make sure they know how to use the toys properly too”.
I didn’t know how I could write a better ending to this story than that, except to add that Jan and Mann said they will give any Hotlanta members or readers a 20% discount of any store merchandise, just for mentioning “Hotlanta”! Woo hoo! Sexy lingerie, sexy ladies, and a discount to boot. Truly, that is a happy ending!
