may be that you're trying to use your Yahoo login. Many people that visit Hotlanta.com are members of our
ClubHotlanta Yahoo Email Discussion Group which is hosted on YahooGroups.com.
It's not unusual for people to assume that their Yahoo login should work here as well. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. YahooGroups.com
and Hotlanta.com are completely different systems, and the security systems are not compatible with each other. If this is the case,
it's a simple matter to set up your free account on Hotlanta.com.
It may be that you have a pop up blocker stopping them from running.
Many features of this site (like chat and games) are run in their own pop up windows. It's not unusual for
users to have these features blocked
by pop up blockers that they may not even realize are installed on their computer. Yahoo, Google, and many ISP's
install toolbars in the browser that have pop up blocking on by default. Truth is, unless you're surfing a lot of
adult entertainment sites, pop ups really aren't much of a problem. Turning off pop up blocking is generally a good idea since you lose
a lot of functionality with sites that legitmately use pop ups (like Hotlanta). Most pop up blockers allow you to
override their block by simply pressing the SHIFT or ALT keys when you click on the link. If that solves the problem,
you can be sure it was being blocked by your pop up blocker (something you may wish to disable).

The chatroom as well as some of the games
require a recent version of Java. Go to Check Your Java Runtime Engine (JRE) to
confirm you Java Runtime Engine is up to date. If you need to upgrade, you will be taken to the site for the free download.
The Internet Radio and Zen Garden both make use of the Windows Media Player. Sometimes files can get corrupted or out of date, and
occasionally other programs will install themselves as the default media player. This can cause Windows Media Player to not work properly.
